Senior Physiotherapist - Clinical Educator Deliver high level physiotherapy services, clinical education, supervision, and assessment of undergraduate physiotherapy students.
Deliver high level physiotherapy services, clinical education, supervision, and assessment of undergraduate physiotherapy students placed within the Brighton Rehabilitation Unit, Community and Oral Health (COH).
Ensure the clinical management delivered to patients allocated to this position and the students under supervision is at a high level and based on available valid and reliable evidence.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Deliver high level physiotherapy clinical services (which include assessment, diagnosis and treatment interventions) as part of a multidisciplinary team to clients within Community and Oral Health in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards and a focus on evidence-based practice.
Clinical services are intrinsically tied to the patient allocation for student clinical placements.
Actively pursue further professional development relevant to clinical and educational responsibility and contribute to skills development, clinical supervision and clinical research activities within Physiotherapy.
Contribute to the capacity of the physiotherapy service to ensure appropriate levels of resource allocation and service delivery across services by participating in workload allocation and service demand discussions.
