General/Business Unit Manager (CEO & General Management) Full time
The MOWCC Operations Manager reports directly to the CEO and plays a crucial role in leading the day-to-day operations of this essential not-for-profit organisation.
This role is suited to a highly motivated individual who enjoys a challenge and is committed to continuous improvement.
A strong leader, you will enjoy the varied days this role will bring (no two days are the same) and you won't be afraid to roll up your sleeves to support and assist the team when needed.
You are passionate about cultivating a motivated and results-driven, high performing team while maintaining a level of fun, ensuring a positive company culture.
The role is full time and based at Tuggerah with the option to work from one of our three other outlets one day a week.
A work laptop and mobile will be provided.
Some out of hours work, such as attending conferences etc, will be required.
A snapshot of what you'll be doing Oversee and manage all operational aspects of the organisation, including order management and delivery, volunteer coordination, and warehouse managementDevelop and implement efficient processes and procedures to ensure the seamless delivery of services to clientsLead and motivate a team of dedicated staff and volunteers to achieve operational goals and KPIsMonitor and analyse key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous optimisationCollaborate with the executive team to develop and execute the organisation's strategic plan and operational budgetEnsure policy compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standardsEnsure all Government reporting is completed each monthRepresent the organisation externally and build strong relationships with key stakeholdersLead ESG efforts alongside the CEO.What we're looking for Extensive experience in a senior operations management role, preferably within the not-for-profit or Aged Care sectorProven track record of leading and motivating high-performing teams to achieve operational excellenceExcellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically and implement practical solutionsStrong financial acumen and budgeting skills to optimise resource allocation and drive cost efficienciesExceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationshipsCommitment to the mission and values of Meals On Wheels Central Coast and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the local communityWhat we offer Competitive salary and benefits package including Salary Packaging and 17.5% Leave LoadingOpportunities for professional development and career progressionFlexible work arrangements to support work-life balanceSupportive and inclusive work environment with a strong focus on employee wellbeingThe chance to make a real difference in the lives of the local communityA dog-friendly workplace and regular staff social eventsAbout us Meals On Wheels Central Coast is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing nutritious meals and essential services to the elderly, disabled, and vulnerable members of the local community.
