As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Digger Operator with final trim expertise for ongoing work with one of clients.
Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated and skilled Digger Operator to operate excavators and other heavy machinery with a primary focus on final trim work.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in earthmoving, a keen eye for detail, and a proven ability to achieve precise grading and finishing.
This role is crucial to the success of our projects, and we need someone who is committed to excellence and safety.
Key Responsibilities: Operate excavators and other heavy machinery efficiently and safely, with a focus on final trim work.
Execute grading, leveling, and finishing tasks to meet project specifications and standards.
Read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and grading specifications.
Conduct pre-operational checks and routine maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with site supervisors, engineers, and other team members to ensure project milestones are achieved.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications: Proven experience as a digger operator with significant final trim expertise.
Proficient in operating excavators and other related heavy machinery.
Strong understanding of grading, leveling, and earthmoving techniques.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Relevant certifications and licenses (e.g., Heavy Machinery Operator License).
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
