We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Fashion Designer to join our luxury woman's ready-to-wear client
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in high-end fashion design, with a focus on creating innovative and sophisticated collections that align with our brand ethos.
The designer will play a key role in the creative process, from concept to final production, and will work closely with the design, production, and marketing teams to bring each collection to life.
Key Responsibilities: Design Creation: Develop seasonal collections, including sketches, fabric selection, colour palettes, and technical drawings.
Create unique, luxury designs that align with the brand's aesthetic and vision.Trend Research: Stay up to date with global fashion trends, consumer preferences, and industry innovations to inspire and inform your designs.
Analyse fashion trends, fabric developments, and cultural influences to incorporate into collections.Collection Development: Work collaboratively with the design and production teams to refine and finalise designs, ensuring every piece is of the highest quality.
Oversee the fitting process and make necessary design adjustments.Fabric & Material Selection: Source and select luxurious fabrics, trims, and other materials that align with the brand's high-quality standards.
Develop relationships with fabric suppliers and ensure materials are sourced ethically.Technical Design: Produce detailed technical drawings and specifications for garment construction.
Ensure all designs are translated accurately into production samples, working closely with pattern makers and sample makers.Product Innovation: Introduce fresh ideas while maintaining the brand's identity, ensuring every collection remains distinctive and relevant to the luxury market.Quality Control: Maintain the highest standards of garment construction, finish, and overall quality.
Monitor the production process to ensure designs are executed perfectly from concept to delivery.Collaboration: Work closely with the design team, head of production, and other departments to ensure seamless coordination throughout the design and production process.
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure collections are presented effectively to the brand's target audience.Fashion Shows & Look books: Participate in photo shoots, fashion shows, and look book creation, ensuring that the brand's vision is conveyed through the final presentation of each collection.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field.Minimum 4+ years of experience as a fashion designer, ideally within the luxury woman's ready-to-wear sector.Strong portfolio showcasing sophisticated, high-end fashion collections.Expertise in fabric sourcing, garment construction, pattern making, and technical design.Knowledge of fashion trends, luxury retail markets, and consumer behaviour.Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD.Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for colour, shape, and texture.Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across departments.Exceptional creativity, originality, and a passion for luxury fashion. #J-18808-Ljbffr
