TCorp's Investment Management division constructs and manages client-centric investment portfolios for the NSW Government family. TCorp believes understanding and managing material environmental, social and governance (ESG) risks and opportunities, including climate change, will result in more resilient long-term investment outcomes. The Investment Stewardship team ensures stewardship principles are embedded in our investment model to deliver better investment outcomes for our clients.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Investment Stewardship, the Senior Analyst will provide key support for TCorp's investment stewardship framework and strategy by:
Supporting delivery of TCorp's active ownership program through proxy voting and engagement with selected companies, particularly in Australia.Supporting ESG integration in listed equity and direct property, collaborating with Investment Stewardship colleagues and ESG champions.Coordinating qualitative ESG reports for clients and stakeholders.Critical for this role will be the ability to communicate clearly and effectively on stewardship matters (both verbally and in writing) with key stakeholders, clients and other external parties. The successful candidate will have the gravitas, expertise, communication and influencing skills to hold challenging conversations at board and executive level and the ability to establish credibility through a thorough understanding of ESG topics including climate change, corporate governance, human capital, and biodiversity. This opportunity will suit an Investments professional with a genuine passion for ESG and active ownership, a growth mindset, and hunger to learn new topics and asset classes.
TCorp would like to hear from candidates with relevant tertiary qualifications and a minimum of four years' experience in ESG, sustainability, climate change, or corporate governance research and analysis; a good understanding of investment markets, risk management and value creation; proven experience working in a complex stakeholder environment, with the resilience and agility to positively promote and support change and commit to the delivery of challenging tasks.
