Scheduling Team Leader - Southern Region Location: Canberra, ACT, Australia, 2601; Mittagong, New South Wales, Australia, 2575; Bankstown, NSW, Australia, 2200
Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time
As the Scheduling Team Leader for the Southern Region, you will lead your team to make a meaningful difference in the lives of both our clients and staff by putting our people first.
You will support your team to develop rosters that meet our clients' needs.
You will work closely with the Area Managers, Care Facilitators, and care workers to support the delivery of high-quality care and services that support our client's independence, health, and well-being.
A typical day includes: Scheduling services for care workers to meet customer needs, worker skill level, and availability, maximising best fit for the customer and business. Allocating work to care workers in a timely manner according to their skill set and geographical location. Ensuring that all services are covered and workers are fully utilised, minimising overtime and downtime. Understanding the qualifications of care workers and matching them with the requirements of the customers and carers. Rostering day-to-day urgent situations as they arise in a timely manner. About You You thrive on problem-solving You will have experience and knowledge in the allocation and scheduling of services across large teams. Demonstrated experience within an aged care or similar environment as well as previous experience leading teams. You will have high attention to detail and excellent organisational skills, excellent customer service, and relationship management skills. You will have outstanding written and verbal communication skills, advanced computer skills, and the ability to make decisions under pressure. You have excellent problem-solving and time management skills. Knowledge of Home Care programs and service delivery models would be ideal.
