Consultant Intensivist seeking a new professional challenge and a warmer climate?Situated on a peninsula, Bunbury is a cosmopolitan city that can offer you an amazing work/life balance, as well as the classic Australian lifestyle for you and your family.You will be joining a dynamic and friendly group of medical professionals who are absolutely committed to the health care of the population of Bunbury and those in its catchment area.The BenefitsAttractive remuneration package up to AUD$500k pa (subject to level of experience)First class quality of life, without stresses and demands of city living and city costsPerth is only 90 minutes drive away1hr drive to world famous Margaret River Wine RegionThe RoleYou will have broad experience and skills in Intensive Care Medicine along with a sound understanding of contemporary models of care; proven leadership skills and experience of working in a multidisciplinary team environment; an interest in medical education and teaching, including providing supervision and education to junior medical staff and medical students; participate with other Intensive Care Unit staff and visiting specialists in the provision of a seamless on-call service; and a commitment and willingness to be involved in continuous quality improvement programmes.RequirementsApplicants should be registered (or eligible for registration) as a specialist with the Medical Board of Australia and be a Fellow of the College of Intensive Care Medicine of Australia and New Zealand (FCICM) or equivalent as an overseas trained specialist who has completed their training in either the UK, Ireland, Canada, USA or New Zealand.The LocationBunbury and the South West Region of Western Australia offer professional people an exceptional mix of lifestyle and residential opportunities.
