Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to play a critical role in their finance team.
This full-time, office-based position offers a broad range of responsibilities within an exciting finance team.
The role will be integral in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, supporting decision-making processes, and assisting with the transition from Xero to Pronto.
With a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 + super, this opportunity is perfect for someone looking to make a significant impact in a well-established company.

As an Accountant, your role will be pivotal in assisting the overall financial operational and compliance requirements for the business.
You will be responsible for preparing general ledger reconciliations, assisting in coordinating month-end close processes, and ensuring all compliance documents are prepared and lodged.
Your ability to liaise with external auditors will be helpful in facilitating correct documentation for year-end audits.
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to improve processes and procedures as you see fit.
Your role will also involve assisting with the financial analysis and commentary of business performance, assisting with variance analysis from actuals to budget and forecast.

The ideal candidate for this Accountant role is someone who brings initiative and can work with minimal supervision.
You possess strong problem-solving abilities along with solid accounting skills.
Your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills enable you to effectively collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.
As a results-oriented individual, you focus on delivering outcomes while maintaining professionalism.
Proficiency in Xero or Pronto would be desirable but not mandatory.
