With operations across Australia, we are now looking for a Storeperson within our Rivtow Marine, Port Hedland team, based at our waterfront location.
This great opportunity to live and work in Western Australia's thriving Pilbara region will see you report directly to the Senior Operations Manager, and will require you to use your experience and well-developed communication skills and procurement expertise to support the operations and a large fleet of escort and harbour tugs.
About the Opportunity Rivtow Marine is seeking a full-time Storeperson based in Port Hedland, Western Australia.
Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Maintenance and housekeeping of all storage facilitiesThe physical unloading, receipting and distribution of parts ordered/requisitionedPurchasing and expeditingOrganising/collecting locally sourced requisitionsWork with Pronto ERP, Canvas and Cognos reporting programs for reporting, stock control and purchasesConducting rolling stocktakes and full stocktakes at Year end. Update the system for all variances arising from these stocktakesParticipating in maintaining all logistics functionsAssisting the Supply Chain Coordinator in identification and maintenance of inventoryChampioning continuous improvement projects, demonstrating their value to Rivtow's customer with strong business casesRequired qualifications, training and track record: Procurement and warehouse experience in marine or mining (desirable)Strong Microsoft Office experience, particularly ExcelExperience with Inventory Management Systems (desirable)Forklift Licence (desirable)LR Licence (or ability to obtain)As a family business, we offer job security and a supportive work environment.
