Organisation: The Royal Children's HospitalOccupation: Medical and NursingReference: 12538The Role:This is a full time, 12 month fixed term role within the Nutrition and Food Services department. You will be responsible for the provision of high-quality nutritional care to paediatric patients and their families within the inpatient and outpatient setting. The grade 1 position is rotational 6 monthly or as per operational requirements; therefore, provision of nutritional care across specialist areas is a requirement of this position.What you'll achieve:Work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure patient care is integrated and effectiveProvide nutritional care to paediatric patients (inpatients and outpatients) and nutritional support across a variety of specialist/medical unitsBuild and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including food service and formula room staff, to ensure patient and ward needs are addressed effectivelyYour skills and experience:Eligibility for full Membership of Dietitians AustraliaEligibility for the Accredited Practising Dietitian ProgramMinimum postgraduate degree Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalentOther requirements:Current National Criminal Record Check, or willing to obtainValid Working with Children CheckCurrent NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willing to obtainCompliance with RCH's "Staff Immunisation - Prevention of Vaccine Preventable Diseases" procedureApplication process:To apply, you will need a resume and a tailored cover letter outlining your skills, experience, and suitability for the position in line with the requirements of the position description.
