Job Description:About the RoleWorking as part of a collaborative team to register certificates and to process payments of accounts and weekly payments received on behalf of employers, injured workers, providers, and the Victorian WorkCover Authority in relation to injured worker's compensation claims.Managing weekly payment of entitlementsData entry for individual claims portfoliosDealing with high-risk calls with patientsResponsible for processing claims requests, in adherence to the policies, laws, and regulations of the company involvedCIP (Community Integration Program) ClaimsRequired ExpertiseCustomer service experience within a medical or corporate environmentStrong written and interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise effectively with patients, medical, paramedical and legal practitionersSensitivity to issues related to people with medical, cultural and social needsTechnically capable of working across multiple platforms and being self-sufficient with technology and troubleshooting systemsProcessing abilities – claims management activities, e.g.
