About the opportunityOur Financial Audit division is a diverse group of approximately 80 highly motivated audit professionals, dedicated to making a difference to the Victorian Community through financial audit services.

Assistant Managers in Financial Audit are dynamic, adaptable leaders with the ability to motivate and coach others to achieve their work goals. They are responsible for the delivery of various audit services and will perform the team leader and team senior roles on selected audits, coach and mentor junior staff and contribute to business improvement initiatives.
VAGO's Assistant Managers are innovative in their approach to work and motivated by the challenge of promoting continuous improvement in the Victorian public sector. They create opportunities for others to learn and develop, while actively pursuing their own professional development goals.
This role will be Fixed-Term until Sept 2025.
