Organisation: The Royal Children's HospitalOccupation: Medical and NursingReference: 11810About the Role:This is a Permanent Full-Time position at 80 hours per fortnight within the Pharmacy Department.You Will Be Responsible For:Providing a high quality and efficient clinical trials service.Supporting and promoting the safe and ethical use of novel therapies.What You'll Achieve:Maintain and develop relationships with medical and technical staff within RCH, The Department of Paediatrics (University of Melbourne) and the Murdoch Children's Research Institute.Assist with the set-up of clinical trials.Be trained in the preparation of GMO products.Classification: This position will range from SX2 $92,627.60 per annum (plus superannuation) – SX5 $104,811.20 per annum (plus superannuation).Your Skills and Experience:Registered to practice as a pharmacist with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency & name appears on the register of the Pharmacy Board of Australia.Significant and proven experience in hospital pharmacy and/or clinical trials.Previous experience in the production of sterile and/or GMO products (desirable).Postgraduate qualifications or undertaking a postgraduate course in a relevant discipline (desirable).Other Requirements:Current National Criminal Record Check, or willing to obtain.Valid Working with Children Check.Compliance with RCH's "Staff Immunisation - Prevention of Vaccine Preventable Diseases" procedure.Application Process:To apply, you will need a resume and a tailored cover letter outlining your skills, experience, and suitability for the position in line with the requirements of the position description.
