About the mental health division The division is committed to promoting the highest levels of mental health care for our patients. In realizing this goal, the division will lead and excel in research, teaching, and the use of person-centred evidence-based practice. The division provides services on all three campuses of Austin Health, from the Emergency Department through to bed-based services and ongoing ambulatory care.
About the role As the Team Leader, you will work collaboratively with a supportive team of professionals who are passionate about providing best practice care for those who are experiencing eating disorders. You'll enjoy our continuing education and quality improvement strategy, which is developed through leadership forums and committees.
A regular day will see you:
Provide operational management to the team.Facilitate a coordinated approach to total patient management by working with other team members.Participate in continuing education activities.Collaborate with multiple teams across the division.About you You will be someone who has excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to excellence in patient care. You'll bring energy and drive to your work and have a keen interest in developing your skillset.
You'll further have:
A relevant qualification and current AHPRA registration.The ability to provide treatment for a wide variety of eating disorder clinical conditions.The desire to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.Work with us We are committed to cultural safety and health equity for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander People.
