About the role: In this role, you'll proactively assist the Assistant Vice President (AVP) Manager and Vice President to manage the workflow and completion of all Corporate Loans Administration (CLA) on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis in accordance with the bank's procedure manuals and operational guidelines.
What you'll be doing: Pro-actively manage all operational tasks for Corporate Loans Administration to ensure accurate completion and compliance with the bank's policies and procedures.
Identify areas for process improvement and engage with staff to build more effective processes that minimize errors.
Manage approvals for funding rollovers, drawdowns, repayments, disbursements, and collection of fees for various products and operational transactions.
Ensure strict adherence to Australian and Japanese regulations for customer identification as per the Bank's Anti-Money Laundering policy.
Ensure operations comply with all financial regulatory obligations and adhere to the bank's risk and compliance policies.
Monitor and confirm daily Suspense Account Reconciliations and monthly reporting.
Monitor and confirm daily PROactive Nostro Account Reconciliations.
Archive transaction documents as required.
Build and maintain strong working relations with customers/external counterparties to provide high service levels.
Ensure customer inquiries are followed up promptly with satisfactory outcomes.
Assign work to staff, provide guidance, support, and ongoing training, monitor quality of work and progress, and provide regular status updates to AVP and VP.
Manage, mentor, and develop team members.
Collaborate and maintain strong working relations with internal and external stakeholders.
Provide an environment where all staff are encouraged to contribute and provide feedback.
What we are looking for: This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 3-4 years of experience in a similar or related role within banking/financial services operations, with a sound understanding of Facility Agreements.
Basic accounting knowledge is desirable but not essential.
You'll have excellent time management skills and a high level of attention to detail and accuracy to ensure the team performs at a high-performance standard.
You'll deliver extraordinary customer experiences, collaborate effectively, communicate professionally, and drive for results.
You will lead change, seek continuous improvements, and think strategically.
Working well under pressure, you'll be flexible and adaptable to change.
You'll likely have Tertiary qualifications in a related field; Accounting/Business qualifications will be viewed favorably.
