Jared Poole Design Architects is a modern, progressive Architecture practice centrally located in Surfers Paradise.If you are an individual with a flair for creative excellence, are self-motivated and have a strong desire to see tasks through to completion we would love to hear from youA working knowledge of residential and commercial construction, including a strong understanding of the BCA and Australian Standards is required, together with a willingness to contribute innovative ideas, lead projects and a desire to become part of a collaborative team.This role will require you to work closely with team members and consultants to develop and refine design concepts and to produce and coordinate completed drawing packages and specifications.About you:Experienced Architect or Architectural Draftsperson with 7+ years experienceStrong proficiency in ArchiCAD (Macintosh platform experience preferred)Appropriate tertiary qualifications and relevant industry experienceDeadline focused and detail oriented, with the ability to adhere to strict deadlines whilst ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standardsExcellent communication and collaboration skills with an ability to engage with colleagues, clients and consultantsAn ability to identify and analyse design challenges and develop innovative and practical solutionsResponsibilities include:Engaging with clients and collaborating with consultantsPrepare detailed architectural documentation packages from design development to tender & construction issue documentationManagement of the full project life cycle - including scope, time and cost.Ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulationsThe ability, creativity and initiative to design and develop drawings whilst maintaining high quality work standards and meeting project deadlinesIf you are excited by this opportunity and have the necessary skills and experience we would love to hear from youOnly candidates selected for interview will be contacted.
