About the Role
The purpose of this role is to contribute to the growth and profit of the Professional Lines Department by underwriting new and renewal business, developing and maintaining relationships with existing and new brokers, ensuring visibility of Quanta in the market, assisting management with reporting and working to carry out agreed strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Underwrite new and renewal business Identify target accounts Maintain accurate files, registers and records Assist in the implementation of business plans Undertake broker and client visitations Knowledge and ability to review and implement new/existing policy wording Develop customer relationships Undertake actions that meet or exceed customer needs Actively listen and empathise with customers Experience and Skills Required
3 years professional indemnity underwriting experience Qualifications as determined by PS146 Sound understanding of relevant regulatory legislation compliance requirements that impact the organisation Other relevant experience (i.e.
in the insurance industry as an insurance broker, claims handler, reinsurance underwriter, risk manager, accountant, auditor, insurance lawyer or equivalent) A high degree of organisational skills and the ability to adapt quickly to change Ability to deal with multiple tasks whilst meeting reporting deadlines Ability to communicate at all levels in a multiple stakeholder environment - liaison with clients, external service providers and other departments Interested to Apply or Find Out More
