Investment Associate

Our Client Numbers Executive is pleased to support a prominent Melbourne-based family office that manages a diverse portfolio of investments in real estate, venture capital, and private equity.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking an Investment Professional at the equivalent Associate level to join their team.
The Opportunity Working in a tight-knit team with a flat structure, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the evaluation of new investment opportunities across the platform.
This includes:
Conducting in-depth research on market trends and sectorsConducting thorough financial analysis and desktop due diligence on investment proposalsAssisting in transaction structuring, negotiation, and executionPreparing insightful investment recommendations for the investment committeeSupporting the maintenance of a robust pipeline of investment opportunitiesActively monitoring existing portfolio investments to ensure their continued success.You will develop and nurture relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and communication essential for identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities.
Your contributions will directly impact the firm's investment strategies and overall growth, making this an exciting and rewarding role for someone passionate about driving long-term value in the investment landscape.
Required Skills and Experience 5-10 years of experience in investment environments, preferably with experience across professional services, advisory, investment or corporate financeSector experience that might include supporting transactions across real estate, venture capital, or private equity investmentStrong commercial acumen and financial modeling skillsExpertise in financing structures, financial analysis, and risk assessmentAbility to research and understand emerging market trendsExcellent communication and presentation skillsStrong negotiation skillsHighly organized with the ability to work under tight deadlinesTertiary degree in Business, Finance, or related fieldPost-graduate qualifications such as CFA or CARelevant Australian Working RightsTo Apply If you are passionate about driving long-term value through diverse investments and have the skills to contribute to a dynamic family office, we want to hear from you.
