Strategic Account Manager / Relationship ManagerThe Company: Our client is a well-established Aussie owned and operated industrial manufacturer, with an enviable reputation in their industry.
Known for producing products of exceptional quality, strength, and reliability, and their deep commitment to innovation and creatively finding a solution for their customers, they have experienced consistent growth over the last decade.
Due to this success, they are now seeking a driven and passionate Account Manager/Relationship Manager to join their Sydney sales team and contribute to their future growth.
Your Role: As the Strategic Account Manager, the principal function of this role is to maximise sales profitability, growth and market penetration by effectively selling products and related services through active and effective customer relationship management.
You'll spend 70% of your time managing a loyal customer base and existing key accounts, and 30% of your time developing new business opportunities and opening new market segments.
With a direct reporting line to the Managing Director, your key responsibilities will include:
Collaborating with the Management team to develop and implement sales strategies and strategic business development plans aligned with business objectivesConducting thorough market research to identify potential clients and analyse market and industry trendsBuilding and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with clients and key stakeholders to enhance business opportunities and foster collaborationIdentifying and pursuing new business opportunities through strategic territory management, lead generation, networking, and targeted outreach effortsFostering long-term client partnerships through exceptional service and ongoing account managementProviding regular reports on sales performance and market trends to key internal stakeholdersParticipating in trade shows and conventions as and when requiredExploring new possibilities in product/service design and utilisation to generate additional businessSkills and experience: To be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record in B2B sales and a demonstrated history of consistent sales growth.
You will be:
