The Role We are pleased to announce due to business growth we have roles on offer for controllers/rovers within the Sydney CBD.
The roles on offer are Full-time positions.
Controller Duties include but are not limited to: Previous experience with contractor management processes and documentation desirableKnowledge of control room duties, CCTV, Fire Control Panel, Access Control systems and ability to conduct rover duties.An understanding of WH&S and the ability to identify & manage risksAbility to work in a team environmentMust be physically fit or prepared to undergo a pre-employment medicalAbility to work a rotating roster days, nights, weekends and Public HolidaysExcellent written and verbal communication skillsIntermediate level with Microsoft suite of products including Outlook, Word and Excel desirableAbility to communicate with multiple stakeholders across various backgroundsMust be successfully able to undergo a police checkRovers Duties include but are not limited to: Conducting random patrols of the premises, including internal, plant room, external, car park and shopping areas as specified in the SOPs and patrol schedulesMonitoring of entry and departure of employees, customers and contractors to guard against theft and to maintain the security of the premisesCoordinate ad hoc locking or unlocking of areas as specified by control room, contractors, tenants or premises management (subject to approvals)Maintain a visible presence in the common areas especially the main lobby during business hoursPerforming morning unlock and evening lockup of spaces as outlined in SOPs and where applicableMonitor building areas whilst on patrol and report any discrepancies, including hazards, faults, damage, maintenance issues and non-compliance of properties house rulesProvide relief for control room and loading dock roles when breaks are taken or when departments are busyRespond to and deal with security incidents and or threats onsiteComplete required audits and tests throughout the shift in accordance with the control room's directionMonitor and report WHS issues encountered whilst on patrolsAbility to work a rotating roster days, nights, weekends and Public HolidaysAdministrative tasks as required, including checking for new paperwork, incident reports, handovers, hazard reports and client permitsAll applicants will need to hold the following:
NSW Security LicenceCurrent First Aid CertificateWorking Rights in AustraliaThe roles on offer are for full-time employees only.
