The Role
We are pleased to announce due to business growth we have roles on offer for controllers/rovers within the Sydney CBD.
The roles on offer are Full-time positions.
Controller Duties include but are not limited to:
Previous experience with contractor management processes and documentation desirable Knowledge of control room duties, CCTV, Fire Control Panel, Access Control systems and ability to conduct rover duties.
An understanding of WH&S and the ability to identify & manage risks Ability to work in a team environment Must be physically fit or prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical Ability to work a rotating roster days, nights, weekends and Public Holidays Excellent written and verbal communication skills Intermediate level with Microsoft suite of products including Outlook, Word and Excel desirable Ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders across various backgrounds Must be successfully able to undergo a police check Rovers Duties include but are not limited to:
Conducting random patrols of the premises, including internal, plant room, external, car park and shopping areas as specified in the SOPs and patrol schedules Monitoring of entry and departure of employees, customers and contractors to guard against theft and to maintain the security of the premises Coordinate ad hoc locking or unlocking of areas as specified by control room, contractors, tenants or premises management (subject to approvals) Maintain a visible presence in the common areas especially the main lobby during business hours Performing morning unlock and evening lockup of spaces as outlined in SOPs and where applicable Monitor building areas whilst on patrol and report any discrepancies, including hazards, faults, damage, maintenance issues and non-compliance of properties house rules Provide relief for control room and loading dock roles when breaks are taken or when departments are busy Respond to and deal with security incidents and or threats onsite Complete required audits and tests throughout the shift in accordance with the control room's direction Monitor and report WHS issues encountered whilst on patrols Ability to work a rotating roster days, nights, weekends and Public Holidays Administrative tasks as required, including checking for new paperwork, incident reports, handovers, hazard reports and client permits All applicants will need to hold the following:
NSW Security Licence Current First Aid Certificate Working Rights in Australia The roles on offer are for full-time employees only.
