Enhancing our portfolio are falsework and shoring, screen solutions, Jacking Systems (also known as Jumpform), complemented by our advanced engineering capabilities.Our 50-strong National Engineering Team is led by a dedicated and experienced management team, who are passionate about team development, delivering best-in-class solutions, and continuous improvement.
The team has many examples of people who have developed their careers within Acrow, with a depth of internal experience within our Senior Engineers and Team Leaders.Due to organic growth and the recent awarding of a $4.5 Million Jumpform and Screens package for Meriton Gold Coast, we have created a new role of Senior Engineer / Team Leader – Jumpform.
This role will ideally be based in Sydney, but we are open to consider Brisbane, Melbourne, or Perth-based applicants.
This role is the key interface with our Specialised Systems business and the Contractors and Clients we are delivering for at any given time.
It will be your responsibility to prioritise design and delivery across complex projects, taking on full responsibility for final design checks and certification.The fundamental need to haves:Degree in Structural / Civil EngineeringHave a Chartered status or be eligible (CPEng)Previous experience with Jumpform systemsEligibility for membership of the Institute of Engineers AustraliaExperience in formwork design and draftingProficiency in AutoCADObsessive attention to detailEffective communicator, problem-solver, and solutions-generatorWorking knowledge of structural computations and design software packagesProactive team playerOur perfect candidate will be able to show that they are:Someone who takes ownership of the end resultSomeone who is supportive of the professional development of othersSomeone who is naturally adaptableSubmit your most recent CV and a cover letter - outlining your interest in the opportunity, and any relevant work experience/studies in this area that you may have.Must have the right to work in Australia and agencies need not apply.
