Job Description Love what you do and leave your markKey leadership opportunity in our Group Strategy functionBased in Sydney or MelbourneAs Head of Strategy, you will play a key role within Endeavour Group.
You'll be focused on the development of strategic plans and projects for the Group and within our business units, targeting areas that represent the most significant sources of profitable growth for the company, or which are the greatest challenges for Endeavour, and which are outside BAU and require additional resources to accelerate thinking and delivery.
You will lead a team of strategists (including direct reports) and collaborate with our leaders across the business in order to deliver key strategic projects.
You will work as part of an experienced team which is focused on solving our most critical commercial and strategic questions, drawing on your solid business and consulting experience.
Here is a taste of what you can expect in this role: Partner across the business to develop and refine Endeavour Group's strategic plansProvide practical and expert advice to senior management on strategy matters, legislation, people strategy and risk mitigationManage and prioritise across multiple projects with different stakeholders and timelinesUse your quantitative problem-solving and analytical capabilities to develop the fact bases that will inform decision-makingDevelop and communicate clear recommendations and influence stakeholders to catalyse positive changeInject creative and innovative thinkingPerform complex analysis and extract insights from that analysisDevelop actionable insights by conducting data-driven analysis to support senior decision-making across the businessMonitor market trends and the competitive landscape to help identify competitive threats and new business opportunitiesCreate written communication materials to deliver insights and analysisInfluence key stakeholders to deliver impactful changeQualifications Now let's talk about you: 10+ years of experience in strategy consultancy, corporate strategy, investment banking, private equity or a similar relevant fieldProven leadership experienceAbility to work and excel in a high-performing team environmentDemonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projectsExperience and knowledge of strategic problem solving and frameworksExperience in quantitative modellingSuperb written and oral communication with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence across an organisationConsumer market experience and/or retail experience is an advantageThe benefits are good too We offer flexible working in every senseAn exclusive discount card for BWS, Dan Murphy's, Woolworths, BIG W and other Endeavour Group brands, including our ALH pubsMonthly meeting-free daysYour health and wellbeing is your most important asset, and as one of our valued team members, it's our first priority.
