We are seeking to expand our Executive Leadership Team with the addition of a newly created Head of Strategy & Customer Engagement.
This position is full time, office-based in Dandenong South, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer.
About the Role Key to this role's success, you will lead the strategic direction and execution of all organisational customer engagement initiatives.
This includes developing and incorporating comprehensive marketing strategies that align with our business goals.
You will have the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, leverage advanced communications, marketing and customer engagement technologies and significantly impact our organisation's growth trajectory.
Under the direction of the CEO, the Head of Strategy & Customer Engagement will operate as an innovative thought partner in planning and executing organisational goals.
This position will be responsible for the development and implementation of key strategic initiatives, including internal organisational initiatives, as well as external policy and/or market-based objectives.
Leveraging data-driven insights and creative tactics, this role will execute sound strategies, drive brand awareness, customer acquisition and retention, maintain a competitive edge in the market and expand revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Develop and implement strategic communications and marketing plans that align with the Company's business objectives and target audience.Ensure the marketing team delivers effective campaigns to generate leads, increase brand awareness and drive sales growth.Manage marketing budgets, allocating resources effectively and optimising marketing spends to achieve maximum ROI.Foster relationships with key business partners, vendors, sponsors, suppliers and media agencies to maximise marketing and customer engagement reach and impact.Manage public relations and media relations to build a supportive company image through clear messaging aligned with overall business goals and strategies.Lead digital campaigns to boost engagement and generate leads.Lead digital marketing efforts across social media, email, and online advertising, using data analytics to enhance engagement and grow the customer base.Work closely with the Executive Leadership Team to support the delivery of the company's Vision, Values and Purpose.Collaborate with different teams, including product development, sales and operations to ensure a seamless alignment and the execution of customer engagement initiatives.Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, feedback and support to drive excellence in marketing execution.Act as a brand ambassador, representing the Company's values and maintaining consistent brand identity across all touchpoints.Analyse market trends, studying market share, competitor data, and industry dynamics to identify opportunities and threats.Research consumer buying trends to create a dashboard to leverage sales and promotional activity.Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to adjust strategies.Leverage data-driven insights and creative tactics to maintain a competitive edge in the market.Use marketing, customer, consumer and sales metrics and KPIs to measure the company's progress and performance.Supervise direct and indirect staff.About You As a true strategic business professional, you will have a deep understanding of working with an established brand, with a track record of success in B2B environments.
You have a strong grasp of what marketing and customer retention strategies drive acquisition and can create campaigns that resonate with and attract a broad audience.
With a minimum of 5 years' practical and proven senior experience in strategic marketing, brand and communications, you will be tertiary qualified in Business, Marketing or Communications.
You're an innovative thinker with experience in the digital and social media space, able to lead teams and successfully manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
You possess excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, thriving in cross-functional settings.
You're highly analytical and data-driven, leveraging insights to optimise marketing initiatives and improve customer engagement.
