We are BB Country Services
BB Country Services (BBCS) strives to offer the highest standard of services to a range of areas within the mining and civil industry.
These services include, but are not limited to, wet and dry equipment hire, mining earthworks (such as topsoil removal and rehabilitation), civil road works and drainage, traffic control, labour support, project management, Stockpile Management and Coal Haulage Support.
Unique in its field and focused on promoting the value of recruiting local, Indigenous community members to fulfil infrastructure and mining projects, BBCS is a predominantly Indigenous owned and operated mining and civil works contractor.
Operating directly out of the Bowen Basin, the company offers a diverse labour workforce and a range of equipment.

The Role
As the General Manager of BB Country Services you will oversee operations; which includes fleet management, maintenance, people management, safety compliance and contract performance.
You are an astute and capable leader, and will apply your expertise to build a high performing team that will shape personal and operational performance.
Using your exceptional communication skills, you will be the key contact for clients regarding contract performance, and resolving any improvement areas.
You will maintain responsibility for the continued focus on the operations to gain efficiencies to improve service standards, improvement on operational KPI's and financial results (P&L).
We're looking for someone with a track record of demonstrated achievement; and will use this to effectively manage job profitability within customer specification, on time and within budget.
