An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Anaesthetics/PACU registered nurse to join our professional, experienced and dynamic team.
In this role the successful candidate will provide support to the Nurse Unit Manager to ensure continuity of department management and ensure quality of care, as well as provide direction, support, and advice to nursing staff and other support personnel.
This support will be invaluable as the department moves into a new era with our exciting redevelopment, which is currently in progress.
In this rewarding opportunity you will join the St Vincent's Private Hospital Melbourne (SVPHM) team as Associate Nurse Unit Manager in our Anaesthetics/PACU department at our Fitzroy campus.
This role will involve providing professional leadership and the maintenance of clinical standards and quality care of the twenty-four hour continuum.
This is a Permanent, Full-time position based at our Fitzroy campus.

Your skills and roles will include: Demonstrated ability to recognise, support, develop and utilise the skills of team members and identify staff development needs Ability to respond appropriately to emergency situations, with recent relevant emergency training Experience in prioritisation and coordinating in the O.R.
Ability to promote teamwork and actively contribute to the management of the Unit whilst being a role model and promote the philosophy and values of St. Vincent's Private Melbourne Well-developed planning and organisational skills, with exceptional interpersonal skills.
