We are seeking an experienced Control Room Operator to work on a casual basis.
Key ResponsibilitiesGate House OperationsControl Room Operations (including Emergency Response duties)Monitor Cameras through the client CCTV system (Milestone)Operate client access control systems (Gallagher)Facilitate and process inductions for client visitorsScreen personnel entering / exiting the siteReceive and manage client phone callsLiaise with and direct mobile patrolmanVehicles patrolsVehicle inspectionsBag InspectionsCheck/secure client workshops and buildingsUnlock/lock gates both scheduled and unscheduledAbout YouFull vaccination is mandatory for all applicants.Minimum 1 years' experience in a similar positionPossess the current First Aid certificateAdvanced First Aid HLTAID014 desirablePossess experience operating Gallagher access control systemPossess experience operating Milestone CCTV systemFull Victorian Driver's LicenseHold a valid Victorian Security License with Control Room Operator & Monitoring Centre operator sub activitiesEmergency Response experience or accredited training desirableProficiency utilizing Microsoft Office Software (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other applicationsBe prepared to work AM/PM shift work rosters with varying hours of attendance including weekend work (Rotating Roster)Be physically fit, well-presented / groomed with pleasant dispositionHave strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasksHave excellent communication skills both verbal and writtenAbility to work under pressure scenarios (Emergency Response)Benefits & CultureFriendly and inclusive environmentGrowth and development are supported and promotedA discount program where employees, and their family members, can save at over 400 retailers Australia wideA well-being program that provides advice about mental, physical, and financial well-beingAn Employee Assistance Program (EAP) that is available to employees and their familiesCultural diversity is valued and supportedEmphasis on learning and development, where a state-of-the-art LMS is available to all employeesDiversity StatementCertis Security Australia promotes diversity in the workplace through our Diversity Inclusion initiative and via our Indigenous partnership with Corroboree Security.
