About The Role Of Director Of Sales
Working closely with and reporting to the Regional Director of Marketing, the Director of Sales is responsible for strategically leading the sales activity to maximise revenue potential and optimise business for the Hotel across all channels, in order to ensure budgeted expectations are achieved.
Key to the role is providing leadership to our high performing Sales team in order to maintain the position of the property as the premier deluxe Hotel in Sydney.
We are looking for someone with superior communication skills, one who is able to vary their style to suit a wide internal audience whilst maintaining and strengthening relationships with key clients and partners.
To thrive in this role, the ideal candidate will have a hunger for results, be a savvy negotiator and influencer, a swift decision maker and will enjoy the challenge of multi-tasking whilst meeting tight deadlines.
What You Will Do Drive Sales across all market segments to achieve the Hotel's budget performance Lead, coach and mentor the sales team to ensure that they achieve their goals while enhancing their development Relationship management with key contacts across all market segments including own portfolio and other industry connections Be active in providing market intelligence for the group pipeline, yield/forecast meetings, marketing plan and annual budgets Work closely with all hotel departments in a supportive and flexible manner, to ensure the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests and clients What You Will Bring A proven track record in delivering outstanding results as a current/previous Director of Sales A leadership style that is authentic, engaging and strategic, based on identified business priorities and capable of mentoring and driving direct reports to achieve excellence and professional growth Impeccable communication, negotiation and influencing skills Working knowledge of all markets both domestically and internationally A collaborative style that will build strong relations with all Hotel departments who are key to the success of the Sales team What We Offer Competitive Salary, wages, and a comprehensive benefits package Excellent Training and Development opportunities Complimentary Accommodation at other Four Seasons Hotels and Resort Complimentary Dry Cleaning for Employee Uniforms Complimentary Employee Meals If you feel this is the role for you we would love to hear from you
