Assett Group Services is a leader in the provision of maintenance services, specialising in the social housing sector.
We are seeking an experienced Project Supervisor to join our offsite team.
To be successful in this role you will have previous experience managing or supervising onsite maintenance works, looking after multi-site works, trades and subcontractors.
You will be working directly with our client to ensure maintenance tasks and upgrades are carried out.
A competitive salary plus company vehicle is on offer for this position.
Your duties will include:
Travelling to different work sites in allocated client area to ensure that work is progressing to scheduleDirecting, coordinating, supervising and allocating work areas/schedules within allocated regionPerforming various computer and admin tasksWorking in accordance with Contract Specifications and Management plansOverseeing site compliance and WHS standardsRaising unresolved concerns and issues to internal teamConducting random quality checksPreparing quote variations for our client(s)Working closely with our internal project team on all site or project mattersLiaising with occupants/tenantsAttending onsite meetings with clients and their representatives as requiredMaintaining regular client contact as required, to ensure completion of works to required standardsAttending fortnightly onsite toolbox meetingsProviding technical advice and support to resolve identified issuesAttending staff training when requestedSkills & Experience Our ideal candidate must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and come from a similar role within the building industry (preferable residential, maintenance and repair).
A trade or facility management background would also be an advantage.
You'll also have:
Exceptional time management and organisational skillsIntermediate skills in Microsoft Office programs – Word, Excel and OutlookResults oriented individual with a strong work and service ethicProblem solving skills with high level attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsTeam Player – collaborative in approach and working for the overall purpose of the teamMinimum 5 years' experience in a similar role is preferredA Supervisor/Building or Trade/Apprenticeship Certificate or 5 years' experience in a similar roleCurrent valid NSW Driver's LicenceCurrent Work Cover WHS Induction Certificate (Construction)Asbestos Management and Control in the Workplace CertificateRelevant Trades Licence issued by Department of Fair TradingBuilder's Licence or Builder's Licence (Supervisor) issued by Dept.
of Fair Trading; or Qualification which is suitable for issue of a Supervisor's LicenceLead Abatement CertificateSafe Work at Heights CertificateCurrent First Aid CertificateInterested? Please note, it will be a requirement to undergo a Police and ID Check as part of our recruitment process for this role.
If successful, a 5-year driving history will also be required.
