You would be adept in the design and integration of renewable energy systems into power grids.Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:Leveraging expertise in electrical engineering principles to drive sustainable and impactful energy solutions, contributing significantly to the evolution of clean energy integrationSpearheading the development and implementation of innovative solutions, ensuring seamless connectivity, and optimizing the performance of renewable energy sources within the grid infrastructureWhat you will bring to the team:Tertiary qualifications in Electrical EngineeringMust have Registered professional engineer under the professional Engineers Act of Queensland (RPEQ)10+ years' experience working in large scale projects, mainly in HV Substation Design (preferably gained in Australia) up to 275kV, large scale BESS, Windfarms and Solar farm developmentStrong Understanding of technical design standards and demonstrated experience in design and delivery of large-scale substation and transmission/distribution projectsAbility to mentor and guide a team of junior engineers on challenging large-scale projects and consistent record of successful project delivery.GHD is an equal opportunity employer, and we want everyone to be able to fully participate in our recruitment process.
