About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Maintenance Lead to join our Altona North DC in Melbourne.
In this role, you will lead the maintenance, upkeep, reporting, safety management, and financial reporting and analysis for all plant, equipment, machinery, vehicles, and facilities of the Distribution Centre (DC).
Reporting to the DC Manager, your areas of accountability will include but not be limited to:
Safety and riskPreventive, Planned and General maintenanceContractor and stakeholder managementSkills development for maintenance activitiesContinuous improvementAbout you To be successful in this role, you will have:
Background in Mechanical/Electrical and/or maintenance and facilitiesStrong technical understanding of basic mechanics for plant, equipment, machinery, vehicles, and facilitiesDemonstrated experience and understanding of contractor management and maintenance planningDemonstrated capability to manage expenses in line with budgetsKnowledge of Warehouse manual handling equipmentOrganised, proactive, and self-drivenAbility to perform handyman tasksDue to the nature of this role, some weekend and after-hours work may be expected.
