Job Description - Local MR Driver (DRI00002342) Description Followmont Transport Toowoomba is currently seeking highly motivated and experienced drivers to join our team.
Operating a MR Body Truck to complete multidrop pickups and deliveries throughout the local area, this is a great opportunity to join a supportive and growing team.
The Role: Full-Time PermanentOperate a MR Truck to complete deliveries and pickups of general freight around Toowoomba & surrounding areasComplete necessary paperwork including pre-start checks, run sheets, POD's and logbooks.Knowledge and ability to utilise IT platforms such as PDAs to scan freight and capture live signatures.Full-Time position from Day 1 - annual leave, sick pay, guaranteed hoursWeekly payment + overtime penalties appliedSpend more time at home with a great work/life balance - be home every nightOpportunities to progress into HR, HC & MC positionsJob specific training with inhouse trainers and ongoing supportBe recognized for your hard work through our employee recognition program and monthly team BBQ's/DinnersAccess to a referral program (Bonus for referring new team members)Workplace Benefits Program providing discounts to many major retailers.Health Fund discounts for single or family cover.Free access to our Employee Assistance Program, Mental Wellbeing Program and Workplace Banking Program.Skills and Experience: Hold a current MR license (Manual 'B' Condition is preferred)Forklift Ticket is desirable – Not mandatoryAbility to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen and a criminal history check if requiredFollowmont Transport is a passionate family business 100% dedicated to service and maintain a hands-on relationship with customers, our people, and suppliers.
