Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic | Gladstone WorkshopThe role:Toll Group are seeking Trade Qualified Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanics to work within our Gladstone Workshop. Full Time Permanent positions are on offer working on a Monday to Friday basis.As a trade qualified heavy vehicle diesel mechanic, you will bring your extensive experience in servicing and repairs to our fleet, vehicles the team maintain include: Mercedes Benz, Kenworth, Volvo, Isuzu, Fuso, Hino and Freightliner and Multiple trailer Manufacturers.The Equipment team are dedicated to upholding our core values on quality, safety and the environment.Global Logistics Equipment play a very important role as we provide services that Toll's entire Australian Fleet depends on daily. We are the support behind Toll Global Logistics, helping move the businesses that move the worldBenefits of this role:Monday to Friday working week at $50.00 Per hourEmployee Referral Program of $1000 for diesel mechanics and auto electricians (conditions apply)Weekday and Saturday Overtime as and when requiredCentral Gladstone LocationPermanent/Full Time positionSupplied PPE and Safety GearHighly Safety Obsessed Working Culture with Ongoing Training and SupportAccess to the EAP (Employee Assistance Program) for you and family membersRange of company benefitsYou will be responsible for:Diagnosing, repair and maintenance of mechanical, pneumatic, diesel systems, auto electrical, air conditioning and hydraulic repairs in accordance with requirements detailed on job cardsBe available to be on rostered rotating shifts and for reasonable overtime.All general servicing tasks as requiredTo maintain quality and urgency in the work preformedOperate in compliance to the NHVAS schemeAlways Maintain a high degree of safety and in-line with HSE policies + proceduresTo be successful in this role you will have:Proven experience in a similar roleAvailable to work Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday shiftPossess a Trade Qualification as a Heavy vehicle Diesel Mechanic minimum certificate (III)Demonstrated ability working within a fast-paced environmentGood written and verbal communication skillsBe a team player, open and honest who consistently delivers an exceptional customer service experienceHold a flexible approach to business commitmentsEnsure that all work is performed safely and that an ongoing commitment to safety is maintained including proactive actions to identify and reduce workplace hazardsAbout TollToll People are Australia's most recognised provider of Transport, Logistics, Supply Chain and Warehouse staff.
