Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic | Gladstone Workshop The role:
Toll Group are seeking Trade Qualified Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanics to work within our Gladstone Workshop. Full Time Permanent positions are on offer working on a Monday to Friday basis.
As a trade qualified heavy vehicle diesel mechanic, you will bring your extensive experience in servicing and repairs to our fleet, vehicles the team maintain include: Mercedes Benz, Kenworth, Volvo, Isuzu, Fuso, Hino and Freightliner and Multiple trailer Manufacturers.

Benefits of this role: Monday to Friday working week at $50.00 Per hour Employee Referral Program of $1000 for diesel mechanics and auto electricians (conditions apply) Weekday and Saturday Overtime as and when required Central Gladstone Location Permanent/Full Time position Supplied PPE and Safety Gear Highly Safety Obsessed Working Culture with Ongoing Training and Support Access to the EAP (Employee Assistance Program) for you and family members Range of company benefits You will be responsible for: Diagnosing, repair and maintenance of mechanical, pneumatic, diesel systems, auto electrical, air conditioning and hydraulic repairs in accordance with requirements detailed on job cards Be available to be on rostered rotating shifts and for reasonable overtime. All general servicing tasks as required To maintain quality and urgency in the work preformed Operate in compliance to the NHVAS scheme Always Maintain a high degree of safety and in-line with HSE policies + procedures To be successful in this role you will have: Proven experience in a similar role Available to work Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday shift Possess a Trade Qualification as a Heavy vehicle Diesel Mechanic minimum certificate (III) Demonstrated ability working within a fast-paced environment Good written and verbal communication skills Be a team player, open and honest who consistently delivers an exceptional customer service experience Hold a flexible approach to business commitments Ensure that all work is performed safely and that an ongoing commitment to safety is maintained including proactive actions to identify and reduce workplace hazards About Toll Toll People are Australia's most recognised provider of Transport, Logistics, Supply Chain and Warehouse staff.
