We are a department of approximately 50 clinicians with varied skillsets and knowledge working with acute and rehabilitation patients in inpatient, outpatient and community settings.

We are a cohesive team ensuring clinicians at all levels are involved in department development and decision-making processes to better the department and services we provide for our patients.
For example, all OTs are involved in department portfolios and quality projects.

Professional development is strongly encouraged in the OT department both internally and externally to the organisation.

Essential Criteria :
Qualification: Degree or Diploma recognised by AAOT-NSW Registration in line with Award requirements: Registered OT through AHPRA Selection Criteria :
Demonstrated high level clinical expertise and experience in acute, rehabilitation and community aged care services in the assessment, management and evaluation of clients Demonstrated extensive experience in leadership, management, staff supervision and support, service planning and organisation, and knowledge of issues that affect health care delivery Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills, initiative, time management and commitment to clinical team building Demonstrated effective management of human resources and understanding of Occupational Therapy clinical and workforce planning issues Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a multidisciplinary team Demonstrated ability and experience in leading quality improvement, including experience in NSQHS Standards evaluation and audits Requisition ID : REQ536272Applications Close : 5th January 2025
