We are seeking an experienced and skilled Facilities Manager to join our management team.
In this role you will be responsible for the operation, upkeep and building services of two mixed use buildings located in the central CBD.
Working collaboratively and directly reporting to our Group Operations Manager, you will join a team of Facilities Managers represented across our management portfolio.
In this multi-faceted role, you will utilise your technical expertise and people management skills to work with our Asset Management Team in the provision of Building Services/Management for this prime onsite mixed use property.
Specifically you will be responsible for the following:
Implementation of policies and procedures to address maintenance issues for the building ranging from maintenance to management of external contractors.
Conduct on-site auditing to ensure compliance with prescribed OH&S, Workplace Environment Health and Safety Legislative requirements.
Collaborate with our Group Operations Manager in tendering all Service Contracts with external service providers for building/essential services including but not limited to plumbing/hydraulic, cleaning, gardening, painting, general repairs etc.
This function is from procurement through to implementation to audit and compliance.
Initiate, prepare and manage submission of all tender documents, and make recommendations to the Asset Manager for evaluation and authorisation.
Preparation of scope of works, procurement of external contractors and implementation/supervision of work to completion (as required).
Provision of in-house expertise relative to investigation of probable causes of building faults and design problems, liaise with respective stakeholders and participate as required in the design/modification and rectification process.
Providing monthly client reports to include planned maintenance schedules, ensuring all requirements are met.
In order to be considered, you will have experience in Building Management with a particular understanding of mixed use property.
You will be commercially astute and possess excellent communication, reporting and time management skills.
