Operations Supervisor

Our client currently manages, maintains, and improves thousands of kilometers of Scottish trunk road including bridges and structures through some of the most scenic, but challenging, parts of the country.
They currently have an exciting new vacancy for an Operations Supervisor to join their team within the Perth Depot, working full-time and being on standby every 3rd week. Reporting to the South Area Operations Manager, the main purpose of this role will be to supervise a road maintenance team within the Perth Depot and deliver any associated tasks relating to the maintenance team.
Main Duties will include: Lead roads maintenance team activities on trunk roads in the North West of ScotlandAdministration of records including timesheets, scheme files, etc.Manage team Health & Safety, as well as review H & S informationWork to cyclic maintenance programmeProduce rotas for emergency and winter operationsCarry out inspections of completed worksBe part of standby rota every 3rd weekCarry out site visitsKnowledge, Skills, and Experience: Extensive experience in roads maintenanceAbility to work to strict deadlinesCompetence in Word/ExcelCommercial awarenessA fully approved UK driving licence is essential for this roleOur client firmly believes that the people who work for them are their greatest asset.
