Operations Supervisor

Our client currently manages, maintains and improves thousands of kilometers of Scottish trunk road including bridges and structures through some of the most scenic, but challenging, parts of the country.
They currently have an exciting new vacancy of an Operations Supervisor to join their team within the Perth Depot, working fulltime and also being on standby every 3rd week.
Reporting to the South Area Operations Manager, the main purpose of this role will be to carry out supervision of a road's maintenance team within the Perth Depot, to deliver any associated tasks relating to the maintenance team.
Main Duties will include:Lead roads maintenance team activities on trunk roads in the North West of ScotlandAdministration of records including timesheets, scheme files etcManage team Health & Safety, as well as review H & S informationWork to cyclic maintenance programmeProduce rotas for emergency and winter rotasCarry out inspections of completed worksBe part of standby rota every 3rd weekCarry out site visits Knowledge, Skills and Experience:Extensive experience in roads maintenanceMust be able to work to strict deadlinesMust be competent in Word/ExcelCommercially awareA fully approved UK driving licence is essential for this role Our client firmly believes that the people who work for them are their greatest asset and, to ensure everyone succeeds, they make sure they retain and attract a talented, innovative and dedicated team.
