Responsibilities include a range of personal care tasks incl.
showering, grooming, toileting etc.
and other support such as medication assistance, meal preparation, domestic assistance/general housekeeping tasks and social support in the community.
Care Aides will follow a predetermined schedule, travelling from home to home, therefore having unrestricted access to a vehicle and the ability to follow a digital schedule and care plan autonomously, via a mobile app, will be essential.About YouCertificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, HACC, Disability is highly desirable, although not essential.Those with a relevant Certificate will require a minimum of 3 months relevant care worker experience.
Those without a relevant Certificate will require a minimum of 6+ months relevant care worker experience (FTE).Experience working in a home care/community setting is highly desirable.A valid Drivers' License with unrestricted access to a registered vehicle which is appropriately insured and in good condition, is essential.Ability and willingness to work autonomously in the community, travelling from home to home, referring to a digital schedule and care plan, via a mobile app, will be essential.Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills are essential.Align to Silverchain Groups COVID-19 vaccination policy which requires evidence of vaccination against COVID-19, or evidence of an authorised medical exemption.Employee Benefits$43.36 per hour + superTravel allowance of $0.99 per k/mRetention Bonus, Relocation Assistance & Rental AssistProvided with a mobile phone for work purposes17.5% annual leave loading and excess leave cash out options4-6 weeks Annual Leave per year, with ability to purchase up to 4 weeks additional leave per yearPaid parental leave provisionsDiscounts from several retailers, health insurance & fitness providers etc.
