Founded in 1962 by the Munro family, we've grown from a small family-owned business to one of Australia's leading retailers and wholesalers of footwear with some of Australia's most iconic brands, Django and Juliette, Midas, Mathers and Williams.Your new roleReporting to the State Manager, you will oversee and manage a portfolio of 15 stores across South Coast NSW and ACT.
You will be responsible for managing and growing the Retail Operations within your region while having a laser focus on customer service, team performance, and business profitability.Overseeing the daily operations for your regionFocus on training and retention within your areaEnsure that each store is providing exceptional customer serviceDevelop and implement strategies to drive sales and profitability across your region and collaborate with your Support Office stakeholdersCreating a coaching mindset where open communication and teamwork are encouraged and valuedA strong focus on your Store Managers' development and implementation of succession planning within your region and MFGAnalyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growthMonitor and manage inventory/stock levelsConduct regular store visits to ensure compliance with company standards and proceduresProactive recruitment and talent spottingHandle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional mannerAnalyse sales reports and provide feedback to your State ManagerTrain and develop your Store Managers to ensure consistent performance across all locationsAbout youA passion for coaching, leading, developing a high performing team, and achieving targets while creating a holistic customer service experience and empowering your leaders to do the same.Proven experience as an Area Manager in the Retail Industry – Footwear experience is not essentialStrong leadership and management skills with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teamsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growthStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting prioritiesWillingness to travel within your designated area - South Coast & ACT.At MFG, your future is bright.
