Your new role Reporting to the State Manager, you will oversee and manage a portfolio of 15 stores across South Coast NSW and ACT.
You will be responsible for managing and growing the Retail Operations within your region while having a laser focus on customer service, team performance, and business profitability.
Key Responsibilities: Overseeing the daily operations for your region.Focus on training and retention within your area.Ensure that each store is providing exceptional customer service.Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and profitability across your region and collaborate with your Support Office stakeholders.Creating a coaching mindset where open communication and teamwork are encouraged and valued.A strong focus on your Store Managers' development and implementation of succession planning within your region and MFG.Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.Monitor and manage inventory / stock levels.Conduct regular store visits to ensure compliance with company standards and procedures.Proactive recruitment and talent spotting.Handling customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.Analysing sales reports and providing feedback to your State Manager.Training and developing your Store Managers to ensure consistent performance across all locations.About you A passion for coaching, leading, developing a high performing team, and achieving targets while creating a holistic customer service experience and empowering your leaders to do the same.
Proven experience as an Area Manager in the Retail Industry – Footwear experience is not essential.
Strong leadership and management skills with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
Willingness to travel within your designated area - South Coast & ACT.
