The Role
As Project Manager within the New Product Development (NPD) team, you will report to the NPD Programme Manager on project progress, risk, critical paths, and resource bottlenecks. You will work cohesively with the team to provide practical solutions to roadblocks to deliver the projects on time, within budget, and to high quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:
Delivery of projects from briefing through to production in a fast-paced product development environmentEnsuring all projects uphold a high standard of functional and technical performanceManaging inputs from key stakeholdersAssessing and aligning production and fitting processes, ensuring adherence to tolerance chain considerations and design specificationsFacilitating the handover and execution of cross-functional processes such as quality assurance, manufacturing, and pilot runsAssisting in compliance and certification processes to meet regulatory requirementsSkills and Experience 4+ years of experience in the field of project managementExperience in software and firmware projectsExperience in consumer electronics or related fieldExperience in both waterfall and agile methodologyExperience or understanding of Agile Stage Gate processExperience in using cross-platform online project managementExperience in Atlassian apps (Asana, Confluence, Slack, etc.)Proactive team playerStrong organizational skillsMeticulous attention to detailSelf-disciplined team player, able to work in a multi-disciplinary team environmentGood written and verbal communication to all internal and external stakeholdersBenefits You will work with the finest technologies in metal engineering and production in a cutting-edge facility where the team enjoys a culture of collaboration, best practice, and innovationWork with passionate, hardworking, and talented colleagues who thrive in challenging situationsOnsite gym and wellbeing programOnsite parkingFree employee assistance program, available 24/7Company values diversity in the workplace and encourages applications from individuals of all genders, ages, and backgroundsN.B.
