Paediatric Occupational Therapist (Aspley)
Supporting you to Make a Difference in Kid's Lives: Paediatric Occupational Therapist (Full-Time Aspley) Paediatric OT is wanted to join our dynamic, skilled and friendly team at Aspley.
Whether you are early career, intermediate or senior, you will be able to find your place.
Be supported to care for your clients and grow at your own pace.
As part of our team, you will benefit from inspiring therapy conversations with other OTs and support with managing tricky kids and families, encouragement to liaise with the wider multi-disciplinary team in the community, and opportunities to support kids with OT at home, community/school/kindy/in clinic or online – whatever is needed.

Our therapy spaces support you to meet children's needs including sensory gyms, small rooms to minimise distraction, and community work.

Gradually build caseload.
Have a sustainable caseload with achievable KPIs so you don't need to do work outside of paid hours.
Full administration support means that all bookings, billing, admin and customer service are handled so you can focus on your clients.
Paid non-contact time so you can keep up to date with your clinical administration and client preparation/follow-up.
Well established policies and procedures so the clinic operates smoothly.
All resources are provided including technology, stationary, and games.
Weekly supervision and in-house training from a senior clinician is available from the moment you start and then modified in frequency according to your needs (minimum monthly).
Laptop is provided for your sole use and a shared iPad for visiting clients in the community.
A generous professional development budget allows you to learn and grow according to your interests.
About the position:
You will have your own desk and place to nest with plenty of opportunities to connect with your colleagues on a regular basis.
You are seated close to your colleagues to encourage support and collaboration.
You will provide OT to children in a hybrid position that services both the clinic and the community.
Here we offer some flexibility for you in setting up a schedule and keep community visits within a tight geographical radius.
You will need your own car and all travel costs will be reimbursed as per government guidelines.
You have some autonomy in your caseload and in deciding if clients are appropriate to your skillset.
Position can be part-time (at least 24 hours) up to full-time.
