Senior Occupational Therapist

All About You Occupational Therapy is all about our clients.
We are an energetic team of Occupational Therapists and are passionate about our clients' goals and needs in the community with NDIS participants.
We work with people under the age of 65 in order to help them reach their goals.
Achieving these goals is accomplished by: Conducting home environment assessments and assisting with major and minor home modificationsProviding therapy services to participants whilst building on their strengths and developing sustainable long term solutions to complex needsAccessing and prescribing standard and complex equipmentRecommendations for vehicle modificationsFunctional assessments of occupational performance and development of therapy plans to promote daily living skillsAssessing a client's support needs and assisting them with transitioning to supported independent livingProviding high quality Supported Independent Living and Specialist Disability Accommodation reportsRequired Experience, Skills and Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: Proficient communication and organisational skillsThe ability to think creatively, think outside the box and rise to a challengeDemonstrates efficiency and competence with occupational therapy processes and frameworksThe ability to work autonomously and with the team.The ability to put your clients' needs first and work holistically with them to achieve their goalsThe ability to manage your time effectivelyThe ability to write comprehensive reportsMinimum one year experience requiredMental Health experience or interest is a bonusMinimum one year experience within the NDIS sectorThis job is great for you because: We offer flexible hours and work from home opportunitiesWe encourage and support professional development and supervisionWe have a vibrant, fun team cultureWe value work-life balance and the well-being of our teamIf you are looking to re-enter the workplace after some time awayOur Mandatory Requirements are: AHPRA RegistrationBachelor of Occupational TherapyCriminal History CheckVaccinations compatible with Queensland Health requirementsDrivers LicenceJob Type and Category This position is Full Time and offers very flexible hours.
