We offer flexibility in how and where you work, trusting our Canvanauts to choose the balance that empowers them and their team to achieve their goals.What you'd be doing in this roleAs a Corporate Paralegal at Canva, you will provide comprehensive legal support and guidance across various aspects of our business:Support Canva's global expansion efforts by leading the incorporation, maintenance, and dissolution of corporate entities and associated legal workstreams.Assist in corporate governance and compliance processes, including record-keeping, preparation of board meeting materials, and other related documents.Support tax, finance, accounting, and treasury teams on corporate legal matters including KYC, audit, and insurance requests.Assist the corporate legal team with securities law compliance and filings.Work with equity ops to manage Canva's equity plans and capitalization records.Drive improvements by partnering with cross-functional teams on various corporate legal matters.Assist the corporate legal team on acquisitions, financings, secondaries, and tender offers.You're probably a match ifYou have 6+ years of experience in a Paralegal role, preferably within a fast-growing SaaS/technology company; public company experience preferred.You are highly collaborative with a positive attitude and the desire to build, lead, and make an impact.You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.You possess superior organizational skills and extraordinary attention to detail.You are a self-starter with the ability to operate independently and manage numerous projects simultaneously.You have excellent technology skills with proficiency in G Suite, Slack, Microsoft Word, Jira, and Excel.About the teamThe Corporate Legal Team works closely with Canva's leadership and various teams across a broad range of projects, helping to empower Canva to meet its ambitious goals.What's in it for you?We offer a range of benefits to support your success in and outside of work:Equity packages.Health benefits plans.401(k) retirement plan with company contribution.Inclusive parental leave policy.An annual Vibe & Thrive allowance.Flexible leave options.Check out lifeatcanva.com for more info.The target salary range for this position is $121,000 to $188,000.Other stuff to knowWhen you apply, please tell us your pronouns and any reasonable adjustments you may need during the interview process.We celebrate all types of skills and backgrounds at Canva, so even if you don't feel your skills match what's listed, we still want to hear from youPlease note that interviews are conducted virtually.
