About the role We are seeking a Youth Care Coordinator to support the headspace Oran Park team in delivering high-quality mental health services to young people.
This is a full-time role, currently available until 30 June 2025, with the potential for extension based on continued funding.

The position will be based in the Oran Park headspace centre.
This position offers the opportunity to: Actively participate in headspace Oran Parks community awareness activities promoting the health and wellbeing of young people and meaningful youth participation in the service Work collaboratively with young people and their friends, family and carers to identify their support needs, goals and develop collaborative care plans.
Provide practical assistance, referral, and advocacy to young people and their friends, family and carers as well as short term counselling where indicated.
We are looking for someone with: Qualifications in a relevant field or working towards same e.g.
youth work, community welfare, social work, psychology, peer work, occupational therapy, counselling or other related qualifications or demonstrated experience in a similar role.
Demonstrated understanding of issues affecting the health and wellbeing needs of young people with mental health and/or substance use problems.
Experience working within a team environment, providing coordination of care and ability to work from a recovery-oriented framework.
Computer literacy and data entry competency including MS office and demonstrated capacity learn new technologies including clinical software packages.

About us Grand Pacific Health is the lead agency of headspace, Oran Park.
We are a not-for-profit, primary health care organisation providing locally-tailored, high quality physical and mental health services across NSW and the ACT.
headspace Oran Park provides early intervention mental health services to young people aged 12-25 who have or may be at risk of developing a mental health and/or substance use disorder or have economic and social recovery needs.
It is a part of the Youth Mental Health Team within Grand Pacific Health (GPH).
