About The Role We are currently searching for a dedicated and motivated Sous Chef to join our close-knit team on a full-time basis at our venue, Breakers Country Club, located in Wamberal, NSW
As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day kitchen operations whilst ensuring the highest safety standards and high-quality meals are prepared for our customers to ensure we continue to create memorable guest experiences.
More specifically, your duties will include but are not limited to:
Supervision of staff engaged across Kitchen operations both Front and Back of House, including training and developmentCoordination of rosters to ensure operational needs are metEnsure continuous improvement of our service deliveryAttend and manage any staff complaints and customer complaintsEnsure compliance of hygiene standards as set out within the HACCP standardsEnsure high customer service standards are always maintainedMonitor stock levels and complete appropriate rotation of stockAssist with planning of menusAbout You To be successful for this role, you should ideally have the following:
Previous experience working in and leading in a high-volume kitchenHold a Certificate III or IV in Commercial CookeryHold a current Food Handling and Food Safety Supervisor CertificateOutstanding communication skillsAbility to work both independently and in a team environmentWell organised and have a strong customer focusAvailability to work a flexible roster which may include days, nights, weekends and public holidaysOur Benefits A supportive and inclusive environmentAccess to ongoing learning and development opportunitiesDiscounted mealsFree onsite parkingUniforms providedWHY MOUNTIES?
