Strategic Sourcing Business Partner Contract Duration: 4 months (Starting February 2025)
Hourly Rate: $72-$76 per hour + super
Location: Flexible
My client is seeking an experienced Strategic Sourcing Business Partner to join their team on a short-term basis.
In this role, you'll be responsible for driving procurement excellence across mid- to high-value sourcing events and contracts, ensuring alignment with organisational goals while delivering value-driven outcomes.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end management of sourcing events and category strategies. Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve business-aligned procurement solutions. Conduct risk assessments and maintain probity throughout the procurement process. Negotiate contracts to secure optimal outcomes. Provide strategic advice and mentorship on procurement best practices. About You: The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in procurement, contract management, or a related field.
A degree in Business, Commerce, or Law is preferred, along with strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
Experience with Australian Standard Contracts and category management will be highly valued.
