The Role Reporting directly to the Head of Procurement, you'll play a pivotal role in:
Developing and executing category strategies that align with organisational goals.Leading high-value tenders and managing complex procurement activities.Overseeing the implementation of framework agreements to ensure optimal outcomes.Collaborating with senior stakeholders, ensuring procurement strategies deliver value for money while mitigating risks.Your expertise will shape the organisation's approach to strategic procurement, ensuring seamless alignment with their ambitious objectives.
Key Responsibilities Crafting and driving strategic procurement initiatives.Developing robust category strategies to achieve organisational goals.Leading major procurement projects, including negotiations and contract management.Providing data-driven insights to guide category management and reporting.About You We're looking for a results-driven leader with:
Proven experience in strategic procurement, particularly in capital works, construction, or infrastructure.Strong knowledge of contract negotiation, including experience with the AS Suite of construction contracts.Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and foster cross-functional collaboration.Expertise in procurement compliance, risk management, and leveraging data to inform decision-making.Experience in developing and executing category strategies to optimize spend and reduce risks.Tertiary qualifications in business, construction, infrastructure services, project management, or related field.This is more than just a role—it's your chance to influence a household name and drive procurement excellence.
