Job Description: The Rope Access Supervisor will serve as the primary point of contact for all on-site rope access technicians during execution.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and supervising all rope access activities within our shutdown/project space.
This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in rope access techniques, and a commitment to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise and oversee all rope access activities and assets within the project/shutdown works during execution.
Liaise with coordinators, project team, and contractors to understand project requirements and ensure alignment of rope access activities with project objectives.
Conduct regular site inspections and conduct field leaderships to assess the effectiveness of rope access systems and identify areas for continuous improvement.
Act as a point of escalation for any issues or concerns related to rope access operations, providing timely resolution and communication.
Required Skillset Strong background in execution, in the shutdown/project space within the mining industry.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively supervise teams and communicate with stakeholders.
Experience in dynamic work environment with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing priorities effectively.
Current IRATA Qualification and a comprehensive understanding of rope access techniques, equipment, and safety Appointed Persons – Schedule 26.
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
Trade qualified – highly advantageous Working at Heights & Enter and Work in Confined Spaces White Card WHY WARRIKAL Excellent remuneration packages.
